After the event in Milano, the Toys Road Show proves to be a successful way of gathering Toys Industry representatives and EC officials together to disseminate information and answer economic operators' questions.
Since the beginning of this "roadshow" campaign, EC officials have met with many people around Europe to introduce the "toys safety" Directive, highlighting the major changes in comparison with the current Directive, and supplied them with information by answering their many questions.
The links between in particular the chemical requirements and other Community legislation like Regulation 1272/2008 and Regulation 1907/2006 (REACH) were explained amongst others.
A high level of attendance and interest were stated during these events. The Toys Road Show will be present at the International Toys fair in Nürnberg on February 9th, 2010.
